color your life

Oh my gosh, what a terrible blogger I am.  I broke the most important rule of blogging: "You must blog often."  I'm guessing 'often' doesn't mean only once a week.  Actually, it's probably been a little longer than that.  But, full time job, and grad school, plus life in general has gotten in my way.  I've got a new obsession with jewelry making that I'll post more about later.  Anyway, enough babbling/blogging, here are some great images I found on the web.

weekend is here

Yay for the weekend!  Although I will still be working today, I finally have the weekend off!  I'll probably spend it being lazy and eating, but best of all, hanging out with those that I love.

Fall for these shoes

One thing that I am not the best at is buying shoes.  I love clothes, but shoes....not so great at picking out good ones.  The new seychelles lookbook is pretty easy to pick out shoes blindfolded and not go wrong.  I would buy any of these beauties!  Flats, I love you!

Tribal. Native. Ethnic.

Whatever you decide to call it, this fashion trend is all over the place.  Every season this trend comes into play in one form or another, and this time it is leaning towards the Native American prints.  I found this artist, Raquel Aparicio, that seems to encompass this multiple personality print trend.

Dot dot dot

It's been a while but I'm back!  I've been thinking about this outfit for a while, but it's been too warm to wear the sweater I want with this skirt.  Instead, I opted for one of my favorite Anthropologie jackets.

Dusk is a great time for pictures, wouldn't you say?

Mother may I?

Like most women, I am obsessed with denim and have more pairs of jeans than I know what to do with.  While finding the perfect pair is often hard, there is a new brand that has hit the market that has both trendy and classic fits that will squeeze and shimmy onto many derrieres out there.
It's Mother Denim!

Tim Kaeding, former creative director/designer for 7 for All Mankind, and Lela Tillem, former president of sales and marketing at Citizens for Humanity have teamed up to launch the mother of all denim lines: Mother. The inspiration for the line was certainly retro, as Tim Kaeding stated, everything from “60s cinema to Max’s Kansas City,” inspired the line’s first collection.

Signature Style

Not only does this woman have style, but she has a beautiful voice!  I don't know what Francoise Hardy singing about, but it's captivating.  Check out her collaboration with Damon Alburn, singer from Blur and Gorillaz.

where in the world can I get that awesome umbrella?

Summer hues

There is nothing better than keeping cool on a hot summer day, so I thought I could hope for cooler days with cooler colors.  Dressing in the same color family is cool now, didn'tcha know?
